Andra Rotariu is a seasoned cultural and event manager, artist manager, and founder of CORE Agency, one of Romania’s leading boutique agencies for alternative and emerging artists. With over a decade of experience in the music and cultural industries, Andra combines deep artistic insight with operational expertise, helping her roster of musicians reach their full potential both locally and internationally.

Her career began in 2013 as a volunteer for the Filmul de Piatră film festival in Piatra Neamț, where she gained hands-on experience in event coordination and artist hospitality. By 2018, she stepped into artist management with Adam’s Nest, quickly expanding her roster to include other emerging acts such as Fine, It’s Pink and Sea Section.

In 2019, Andra co-founded SWANBOY Music alongside Matei Pușcaru, broadening her scope to include booking, PR, tour management, and artist development for multiple local bands, including Am Fost La Munte Și Mi-a Plăcut and Baba Dochia. She also worked as a band manager for Ana Coman and others, building a strong foundation in independent artist promotion and touring.

From 2021 to 2024, Andra further honed her expertise as a venue booker and program curator at Expirat Club and later Control Club in Bucharest. She also launched the CONCRETE Series, a concert showcase for emerging alternative acts that became a landmark platform in the Romanian independent music scene. She also contributes to key initiatives such as Europavox, Ukrainian Music Lab, and the Road Trip project, bridging local talent with international audiences.

In 2022, Andra founded CORE Agency, a boutique agency specializing in full-scope artist management, international touring, live booking, production, PR, and brand strategy. Under her guidance, CORE’s artists have reached landmark milestones, including Musspell becoming the first Romanian band to perform at Glastonbury Festival (2024), alongside appearances at Exit Festival, Eurosonic Noorderslag, Electric Castle, Focus Wales, Reeperbahn Festival, Fifty Lab, and BUSH, and tours in Romania’s most prestigious cultural venues.

In 2023, she organized Alternativ Quartet’s comeback tour, which featured performances at the Romanian Cultural Institute, the National Museum of Art (MNAR) in Bucharest, Palace of Culture in Iași, and Tranzit House in Cluj-Napoca, celebrating their double LP release and delivering distinctive live music experiences.

Andra’s work spans a wide array of disciplines: artist development, booking, tour and festival production, event concept design, PR, brand partnerships, international showcasing, digital distribution and merchandising. She has trained through initiatives such as HEMI Music Hub, MOST Music, and Mastering the Music Business, and her architectural background (BArch & MArch, Universitatea de Arhitectură și Urbanism “Ion Mincu”) contributes to her structured, design-oriented approach to events and production.
